Folding a cat is easier

There is this Poe-like chill that creeps up on me like cheap underwear when confronting new technological toys. Even now, when translations have become more understandable, I dread reading manuals. Better to take ten times as long through trial and error - assuming I manage to avoid seeing smoke rise from the newest contraption before it blinks and goes black - then read the fucking manual.

I have lost friends begging for help, a second and third time; I grovel; I try ingratiating, it's pathetic. Everybody's on to me.

Meanwhile, back on page 44 of the Users Guide, following the text along with my finger as I read aloud:
"Memory empty when Review is selected while no text is in Memory."
